    The Opportunity


    Sudler is looking for a talented EVP, Strategy Lead to join our growing team.  For this role, both an analytical and a creative mind is needed to be able to take on responsibility for the strategic leadership across designated clients and spearhead the strategy offer as a whole. 


    What You’ll Accomplish

    • Develop a deep understanding of the brand’s clinical data, positioning, market dynamics and competitive challenges to drive and support brand positioning and innovative, omnichannel go-to-market strategies and tactics that will maximize brand uptake among HCP and consumer audiences
    • Create clear and compelling brand strategies that are driven by powerful insights and have strong resonance across internal and external audiences.  
    • Develop a highly collaborative and agile working relationship with clients and provide proactive and reactive strategic consultancy as part of the overall client/agency partnership. 
    • Ensure close collaboration with internal and client Medical team and appreciation of clinical data and its impact/opportunity to shape differentiating offerings/claims.
    • Work in close collaboration with account and creative teams in the development of brand strategy and resulting creative execution across a designated portfolio of clients, ensuring the day-to-day tactics align with strategic vision. Leading role in creating or approving creative briefs, project/creative kick offs and creative review.
    • Drive the insights generation and develop strategies to support new business development for the company.
    • Develop and lead workshops to support client needs as needed (e.g., war games, competitive messaging, portfolio positioning, etc.)

    Manage and mentor more junior strategists in department.


    What You Need to Succeed

    • Ability to be a strategic anchor on our multidisciplinary team: understanding the brand data, business context, target and channel opportunities, uncovering insights and category white space, exploring and defining growth opportunities, architecting strategy, leading working sessions, communicating vision, and ultimately helping turn our clients’ ideas into market-ready products/experiences. 
    • 10+ years relevant industry experience across one or more of the following areas: Strategic Planning, Product Management, Marketing, Market Research.
    • Deep expertise in data-driven marketing to drive behavior change
    • Experience across all channels with an appreciation for technology-enabled marketing at scale
    • A minimum of 7 years HCP experience including new product launches across therapeutic areas
    • Solid experience in—and passion for—data-driven and digital strategy, new technology, and innovation
    • A reputation for bringing insightful, proactive ideas and a strong point of view to help build the client’s business
    • A deep, natural curiosity and strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. 
    • Excellent presentation skills that encompass clear, compelling communications. A talent for telling great stories and able to deliver insights about people and behavior in a way that generates empathy, emotion, and engagement 
    • A natural skill to engage with people at a deep level whether observing or interviewing users/customers, fellow team members, or clients 
    • The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment 
    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g.: life science, marketing); advanced degree a plus
